Lakeside’s very own Sloopy’s Sports Café and Lago Coastal Café have been chosen as the ‘Best of Lake Erie’ in Lake Erie Living’s September/October 2019 issue.
The magazine’s special edition includes both editors’ and readers’ picks of the best dining, shopping, lodging and attractions in Ohio, Ontario, New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Recognized for their famous Hibachi Pizza, Sloopy’s earned the ‘Best Pizza Flavor.” After the pizza was created in 2012 for a Columbus-based contest, which it went on to win, as well as several other contests, the owners decided to add the unique creation to their menu.
In addition, Lago was named ‘Best Modern Fusion.’ The new restaurant, which opened earlier this summer, has a loaded menu of modern cuisine, including California Chicken Sliders that have become a Lakesider favorite!
