Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and it’s never too early to show your love for Lakeside. Here are five ways you can spread the Lakeside love this year.
Purchase an ‘I Love Lakeside’ T-Shirt
Show your love by purchasing an exclusive $25 Lakeside T-shirt ($15 for youth) – and an extra one for your special valentine! All proceeds benefit the Lakeside Annual Fund. - Paint a Rock
The Rhein Center may be closed for the winter but that doesn’t mean you can’t participate in this beloved Lakeside tradition! Find some rocks outside your home (or brave the cold and see what you can find on the frozen Lakeside shore). Then gift them to your Lakeside friends or valentine to remind them that their favorite spot on Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile is never far away!

- Photo Album
Gather all your Lakeside photos from summers past and put them together in an album for your loved one. You can make it a simple album or get creative and decorate it with seashells, mini-golf scorecards and other Lakeside mementos. As you look through all of your photos of sunsets, splashes, ice cream cones and more, you can reminisce about summers gone by and get excited for your next trip to Lakeside together.
- Lakeside Valentine’s Card
Show your valentine that your love for them is so big it can reach all the way to Lakeside even in the middle of winter! When you give a gift of $20 to the Lakeside Annual Fund, we’ll send a special Lakeside Valentine’s Day card to your loved one. Give a gift online or make a donation by phone at (419) 798-4461, ext. 246 or by mail. Checks can be made payable to the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation, 236 Walnut Ave., Lakeside, Ohio 43440. If giving a gift by mail, please include your loved one’s name and mailing address on a separate sheet so that we can send the Valentine’s Day card before February 14.
