Amy Jones is the go-to for cottage rentals

By Lindsey Bonte, Lakeside Marketing Intern

Meet Amy Jones, Manager of Lakeside Cottage Rentals.

This is Jones’ first summer at Lakeside Chautauqua, and she is bringing years of experience to the daily business of coordinating and working with homeowners, renters and cleaners to ensure guests take away the Lakeside family vacation experience.

Hailing from Springfield, Ohio, Jones attended Clark County JVS/South High and Kaplan University with specialties in business, information technology, hospitality, property sales and marketing.

Jones has worked as a Property Sales Consultant of a real estate company in Australia and Catawba Island, Financial Controller at an IT Company and many years for Hilton Hotels. With a diverse background experience, she considers herself a “Jill of all trades.”

Jones’ background did not necessarily lead her to Lakeside, but she feels that God did. She always knew that God had a plan for her and finding a Christian community to be a part of was important. Lakeside and working in the hospitality industry seem to be the perfect fit for Jones.

“I genuinely care about the people I meet, and I think hospitality is an industry where I can be the best version of myself,” says Jones. “I feel like this is a unique opportunity, and I wake up every day very thankful that I get to come here to work.”

Jones notes that Donna and Julie, who work in the Lakeside Cottage Rental Office as Office Assistants, are crucial to the success of the cottage rental process. Together, the team works hard to make sure guests are heard and that any problem has a quick solution.

The guidance from the executive leadership helps keep Lakeside Cottage Rentals strongly supported, and Jones notes how wonderful it is to be part of such a special community.

Make sure to stop by Amy’s office, located on the far side of the Administration Office on Third Street, for all your cottage rental needs.
