Board of Directors Seeking Applications

Lakeside Association Board of Directors

The Lakeside Association Board of Directors has up to two vacancies for a three-year term beginning April 1, 2025. Applications will be accepted beginning Oct. 15, 2024, and ending Nov. 15, 2024.

The Board meets four times a year, twice in person and twice virtually. Board members are also given committee assignments for committees that meet periodically throughout the year. 

All Lakesiders who have an interest in Lakeside Association governance are encouraged to apply. Cottage ownership is helpful, but not required. Campground residents, guests and renters are also encouraged to apply. Additionally, the Board aspires to have representation from all geographic areas of Lakeside.

Applicants must demonstrate a passion for the Lakeside mission and a commitment to teamwork. Supporting the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation, each to one’s own ability, is expected.

Board applications must be submitted and received no later than Nov. 15, 2024. DOWNLOAD THE ASSOCIATION BOARD APPLICATION. Please note that individuals that applied, but were not selected last year, will have their applications considered again and do not need to reapply. 

Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation Board of Directors

The Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation has up to three vacancies for a three-year term beginning April 1, 2025. Applications will be accepted now through Dec. 6, 2024.  

The Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation (LCF) is responsible for raising and growing charitable giving to support Lakeside Chautauqua in accordance with its mission. The LCF manages the long-term endowment funds and annuity accounts, oversees the Lakeside Impact Giving and cultivates major gifts, providing oversight and accountability for funds raised, funds distributed, and results achieved. Furthermore, the Foundation provides education around generosity. 

The LCF Board meets four times a year. Board members may be given committee assignments like Investment or Nominating. Committees meet periodically throughout the year.  

All Lakesiders who have an interest in fundraising, donor cultivation, solicitation, the endowment, stewardship and legacy giving are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must demonstrate a passion for the Lakeside mission and a commitment to teamwork. Supporting the mission and asking for charitable donations is expected.
