Please help us welcome Morgan Witt, Lakeside Chautauqua’s newest full-time addition to the Conference & Event Planning Team.
As the Sales & Account Coordinator, Witt is responsible for reaching out to new groups and guests and ensuring that their events run smoothly while on the grounds.
The Conference & Event Planning Team hosts and coordinates hundreds of events year-round, including weddings, camps, conferences, business meetings, memorial services, and more. Witt works extensively on the behind-the-scenes details.
“To be successful, you have to have everything very organized,” Witt says. “From the start time and logistics to the set up and clean up, it’s a little crazy, but that’s my favorite part of my new role. I love putting together our many events, especially the beautiful weddings.”
Previously, Witt worked for Gay-lord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee in the Billing Department. She is also a graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in communications and business administration, which have aided her well in this new role.
When Witt isn’t working, she plans on taking advantage of all the Chautauqua experiences Lakeside has to offer, especially kayaking on Lake Erie.
