This summer, the Lakeside Wooden Boat Society (LWBS) is thrilled to introduce the Buoy Tree Project, a new fundraising initiative that supports LWBS programs. All ages are invited to participate.
Purchase a 5” x 11” buoy at the Legacy House, located at 217 Walnut Ave. Then, use your imagination to decorate it. Finished buoys will be adorned on a buoy “tree” in Walnut Plaza for all to admire. Watch as the colorful tree grows throughout the summer.
The cost is $25 for one buoy, $50 for two or $100 for four. Proceeds from the Buoy Tree Project support LWBS events, classes, adventures, programs and other initiatives. The LWBS is committed to working with Lakeside to preserve and restore Lake Erie and its beautiful lakefront.
