Linda Goff is another friendly face at Lakeside Chautauqua who works diligently behind-the-scenes in the Finance Department.
On the second floor of the Lakeside Chautauqua Administration Office, you can find her in Accounts Payable. Her duties include overseeing payroll and ensuring that bills are paid on time and pension is filed properly.
Goff is a valuable part of the Lakeside Team, not only because of her job and important duties, but her institutional knowledge of the organization and her willingness to help others.
Goff will have worked at Lakeside for 29 years in October, one of the longest tenures in Lakeside’s recent history. During her time here, she has served as a receptionist and worked in HR and Accounts Receivable, helping wherever there is a need.
Her co-workers in Programming, Development and the Administration echo Goff’s hard work and willingness to help, saying that her door is always open, and she is happy to talk to anyone that passes by her office.
“It makes me feel really good to have so many co-workers say that I’ve helped them out,” Goff said. “People tell me I’m amazing at helping our nonprofit run and that makes me feel very proud. I enjoy my job. I love my job. I love Lakeside, and I
love being able to help others.”
In her free time, Goff enjoys spending time with her family and sharing Lakeside with her two children and five granddaughters. When Goff was a child, she and her brother would attend the Hoover shows, which is a tradition she is continuing
with her granddaughters today.
