The Presidential Lunch & Learn took place on March 5 at noon, where President & CEO Charles Allen shared updates on Lakeside’s priorities and progress. Allen highlighted the organization’s strong financial performance to date and discussed key funding priorities, including Impact Giving, Special Projects, and the Endowment.
Looking ahead to the summer season, Allen noted both opportunities and challenges. Lakeside is preparing to help celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, which will bring several special events to the community and a significant need for volunteers.
Allen also provided an overview of progress on the Five-Year Strategic Plan and outlined the key areas of focus for the Lakeside team in 2026–2027 as the organization continues to strengthen programs, operations, and community impact.
