The 34th Annual Mouse Island Sailing Race took place on July 18 under heavy southwest winds. These conditions were favorable for the sailors to round Mouse Island for the first time in a few years. There were 22 boats with 29 sailors participating.
The race is organized by the Society of Old Salts and the Lakeside Sailing Center. The top three positions in each of the three classes were:
Laser – Single-Handed

2nd place — Ryan Johnson
3rd place — Brian Brucken
Sunfish – Single-Handed
1st place — Nick Hall
2nd place — Ethan Johnson
3rd place — Tom Prior
Sunfish – Double-Handed
1st place — Tim & Owen Graham
2nd place — Michael & Rowan Gingerich
3rd place — Ben Brucken & Isabella Zuckett
