Work is currently underway throughout Lakeside to improve sidewalks and drainage, which helps get a strong jump-start on the phase II streets project planned for Fall 2026.
These early efforts are designed to streamline future construction right before the summer season begins.
Sidewalk replacement is taking place near Hoover Auditorium and around Lakeside of the next month. Addressing these areas now not only enhances safety and accessibility for guests but also allows us to accelerate progress for Phase II of the streets project later this fall.
In addition, French drains are being installed in select locations to better manage roadway runoff and improve overall drainage.
