Mill and Fill work begins on October 9
First, contractors will begin with East and West streets. North and South streets will follow. This schedule is more efficient for the contractors.
Contractors will skip every other street, allowing cottage owners to access their property from the nearby street. According to the construction timeline, contractors will work about six total days on the mill work, followed by full-depth repairs for about six days, and then paving for about eight days, weather permitting.
Manholes and water valves will be adjusted to the new pavement, and then new stop signs and striping will be added. The street order will be as follows:
East/West Streets
- Second St.
- Fourth St.
- Sixth St.
- Third St.
- Fifth St.
North/South Streets
- Poplar Ave.
- Cherry Ave.
- Peach Ave. & Ross Court
- Laurel Ave.
- Elm Ave.
- Plum Ave.
- Vine Ave.
- Oak Ave.
