Small Changes to Help Spring Forward Your Wellness Routine

As these words are being typed, it’s still snowing in Lakeside, but the official start of spring is only a couple weeks away, and summer will be here in the blink of an eye.

As warmer weather approaches, it brings to mind many thoughts of renewal and regeneration. Spring brings us baby animals, new growth in our gardens and rain that washes away the dreariness of winter. What better time to begin something new in your own life?

This spring, let’s take a closer look at our wellness routines. Are you happy with your choices? Would you like to do better?

In Lakeside, we’ve been discussing wellness for a while now. We’re thrilled to be opening the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus this year, and we look forward to incorporating even more healthful opportunities for the mind, body and spirit into the Lakeside Chautauqua experience over the years to come.

Week_1_Heironimus007_EditedAs fall settles in and Lakeside Chautauqua prepares for the events during the “off-season,” Lakeside recognizes the value in volunteers and how essential they are to the Chautauqua experience.

Pat Castanaras, Les Cunningham and Carolyn Beears are just three of the many volunteers that make this experience worthwhile for so many guests and Lakesiders.

When asked why the three siblings recognize the importance of volunteering, Castanaras said, “The Cunningham family is working on its fifth generation of young people who come to Lakeside to renew their spirit, their religion, to rejuvenate for their future and believe in it.
