Include giving as part of your holiday conversation, and identify ways you can give to others as a family. The memories of these acts of kindness will last a lifetime.

Welcome, West Ohio Conference

The West Ohio Conference will gather at Lakeside Chautauqua with the theme Becoming the Beloved Community – Given, the final of a four-year series on being Christ’s Beloved: Taken, Blessed, Broken and Given.

Presided over by Bishop Gregory V. Palmer, the week will include the ordination service, memorial service, business sessions and inspirational worship.

Guest teachers are the Rev. Dr. L. Gregory Jones, Duke Divinity School, and the Rev. Dr. David L. Watson, United Theological Seminary.

Bishop Peggy A. Johnson of the Philadelphia Episcopal Area will be a guest preacher.

Help Lakeside Make a ‘Hole-in-One’ Today on #GivingTuesday

Mini-Golf - 2#GivingTuesday is finally here! Already, generous families have been inspired to celebrate this national day of giving to support enhancements to the miniature golf course.

For more than 51 years, the miniature golf course has been a gathering place for families to celebrate each hole-in-one victory and to reconnect along the lake. The laughter and cheers from players of all ages can be heard across the putting greens.

Over the years, the huge volume of families has put wear and tear on the historic facility. There are many repairs that need to be made.
